Project Manager

INNCOM International, inc. (http://www.inncom.com/), the global leader in integrated guest room control systems is seeking qualified candidates for FIELD INSTALLATION CREW LEADERS and PROJECT MANAGERS; ideally with a background in one or more of the following areas:

  1. Construction (any trade)
  2. HVAC Mechanical or Controls
  3. Electrical, High or Low Voltage wiring. 
  4. Project Supervision/Management

We are looking for motivated, hard-working, team-oriented, dynamic self-starters, ready to accept the challenges and become a valued member of our field management team. A college degree is not necessary; but good leadership, communication, and basic computer skills are essential.

Successful applicants will be required to manage installations and work closely with our field personnel and sub-contractors deploying systems in hotels, resorts and universities.  Responsibilities and duties require project personnel to be on-site, remote from our CT office. The successful candidate must be willing [and able] to commit to a relatively demanding travel schedule.

Firmware Engineer

Position Description

We are seeking a Firmware Engineer to join our R&D team to develop embedded firmware for industrial controls.  Responsibilities include design, development and maintenance of new and existing firmware.  A very strong hardware and software technical background is required.  Proficient in data analysis and system design while utilizing efficient programming style.  This position includes development of subsystems to support software reuse.  You will work independently or in a team of multidiscipline engineers.

Requirements

  • BS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience developing microprocessor based real-time embedded systems.
  • Experience developing low-level device drivers for hardware peripherals.
  • Strong C programming skills.
  • Strong understanding of microprocessors and interrupts.
  • Knowledge of digital and analog electronics.
  • Strong debugging and problem solving skills.
  • Understanding of real-time applications.
  • Understanding of multithreaded applications.
  • Experience using lab tools such as DSO, JTAG ICE, DVM, Device Programmer.
  • Willingness to remain abreast of current applicable technology.
  • A strong desire to work hard toward the on-time achievement of project goals.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • MS Office.

Knowledge of the following will be helpful but not required

  • Assembly Language.
  • Experience bringing up PCBAs.
  • IEEE 802.15.4
  • Experience developing battery powered devices.
  • Understanding of TCP/IP and UDP.
  • RS485, RS232, USB, I2C, SPI.

Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with experience in system design, network programming and GUI development for Windows.  You will be developing real-time network control, monitoring and logging systems.  A very strong technical background is required, proficient in object-oriented design, data analysis and system architecture utilizing efficient programming style.  This position includes development of subsystems to support software reuse.  You will be responsible for the complete life-cycle development.  You will work independently or in a team of multidiscipline engineers.

Requirements

  • BS degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
  • Excellent C/C++ skills.
  • Experience with Visual Studio and C#.
  • Proficient in object-oriented design and coding techniques.
  • Experience developing real-time applications.
  • Experience developing multithreaded applications.
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP and UDP.
  • Familiarity with concepts of web-based software applications.
  • Familiarity with HTML and XML.
  • Strong debugging and problem solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and communications skills.
  • MS Office.

Application Engineer

Inncom International, inc. (http://www.inncom.com/), the global leader in integrated guest room control systems for the lodging industry, is currently seeking an Application Engineer.

This position is a unique and challenging opportunity for a dedicated and self-motivated professional to demonstrate their technical knowledge and experience using their skills in a variety of engineering disciplines. 

Responsibilities

  • Understanding, applying, and communicating the concepts behind the technology and their implementations in our systems to new clients.
  • Writing and integrating new software into existing hardware based systems at a variety of international and domestic customer locations.
  • Contributing to the development of customer support material such as technical manuals, application briefs, and product data sheets for new and existing products.
  • Demonstrating the hands-on ability to integrate systems both over hard-wire and ethernet TCP/IP communication.

Requirements

Successful candidate shall hold a degree in an Engineering discipline, preferably Electrical/Electronics.

  • Must have knowledge of basic electrical concepts and electrical designs
  • 1-2 years experience in a controls engineering environment is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of CAD design or Microsoft Visio is a plus
  • Travel is required.
